My love for Danes dates back to the 70's where my parents owned a big brindle boy they called Castor.
Fate took a hand one school pick-up day and I welcomed my beautiful black girl, Bo into our home. When I lost her I vowed I would never have another because she was simply amazing; a pet owners dream if you will! But fate works in funny ways and moving into our wonderful new home it became clear quite quickly there was something missing.
I am very fussy and spent a long time scouring the internet for a breeder with a line of quality stock. And along came Ionie!!
From the very first conversation I felt her love for the breed and was so happy our paths crossed. She introduced me to Indra, a stunner of a Dane who had her litter on the 23rd March. I watched the puppy who we would welcome into our lives being born and knew instantly that he was for us....that's if we were going to be lucky enough to get one as there was a list with a good few infront.
From start to finish Ionie was fully transparent and no question went unanswered. We were shown hip scores and the breeding line. She sent regular video updates of the puppies and Indra, from feeding, grooming, sleeping to their vaccines trip to the vet and lots of things in-between. Watching the puppies grow and develop their characters made me feel a deeper part of the process. Seeing them thrive in their happy environment was just a joy and the hours Ionie put into each of them was testament to her passion for her animals.
We are now the very proud parents to Rudi. 16.4kg at his second vaccine weigh in, "he's going to be a big boy!!" A head turner already, he enjoys morning sofa snuggles, exploring the garden and playing with his toys. He is full of life and we are completely smitten.
Ionie has provided us with a wonderful experience from day one and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for a puppy in the future. I'm sure she gets this a lot but I feel like we have made a friend through the process as we are still in contact and have been enjoying seeing the other puppies from the litter in their new homes.

My husband and I found Ionie as a Kennel Club breeder. She’s 100% committed to her Great Danes and their welfare. A wonderful lady with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Ignacio - know at home as Nacho, is a stunning fawn who has just turned 2yrs old in his picture. He’s in amazing shape - Sired from the winner of the Great Dane Championship in Europe.
His temperament is amazing, great with everyone and with our grandchildren - a gentle giant. I can’t recommend this breeder more highly…. Thank you Ionie 🥰 X
